Beatles_ATU couch_front

This huge hunk of couch was my design class' final. We decided to do a Beatles/Across the Universe theme....and it turns out that this couch KICKS SO MUCH ASS!

The back scene is a typical New York skyline, since that's primarily where Across the Universe was set, with rhinestones and painted diamonds...for Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, of course. The left hand side is for Jude's bleeding strawberry art in the movie. On the front, in the typical psychedelic font, are the lyrics "I am he is you are he is you are me and we are all together" from I Am The Walrus. On the right hand side there are numerous picket signs, depicting the 60's protesters lifestyle. On the cushion are portraits of John, Paul, Ringo and George, all done in complimentary colours. On the backrest in the middle is the Strawberry Jams logo, on either side is a concert scene, with the Beatles silhouetted and a super massive crowd in the background.


I did the scene on the back, the bleeding strawberries on the left side, lyrics and font on front side, strawberry on front and right hand side concert scene on front.
